Bio cornmeal may be used to thicken soups and sauces, for thickening, in pastry, muesli, or for consumption as grits in itself. It contains no artificial colouring or other chemicals. It is free of gluten, milk and soy. It is simple and quick to make: put the desired quantity of cornmeal in a bowl, then pour a quantity of hot water or milk substitute over it so that the liquid is 1 cm over the cornmeal. Let it stand for two to three minutes. If you wish, you may add dried or fresh fruits, jam.
