One of the advantages of psyllium husk is that cure-type consumption thereof makes digestion regular. It can be helpful in cases of constipation, diarrhoea, and a variety of intestinal diseases, as psyllium husk can take up large quantities of water and thus it can act as a mild cleanser.
One teaspoonful should be mixed in two decilitres of water, fruit juice or tea. One glass thereof is recommended in the morning and in the evening, to be consumed 20-30 minutes before your meal.
